1. Raise和rise都有“上升”的意思，记住下面2句话：

Raise是及物动词，后面必须有宾语，就是“某人把某物举起来”。

Rise是不及物动词，后面不能加宾语，也就是说“某人、某物自己升起来”。

比如：

2. Raise和rise都有“增长”的意思，比如：

3. 在英式英语里，raise只能作动词、不能作名词，rise既可以作动词、也可以作名词

在美语里，raise则可以作名词，表示“加薪”。
